Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Moneymachine ("the app", "we", "us"). By installing, accessing, or using the app you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the app.

1. Description of service

The app is an automated video-creation tool that generates videos from scripts and prepares them for upload to YouTube channels that you connect and authorize through the app's OAuth flow. The app also provides a local web dashboard for managing jobs, reviewing outputs, and approving uploads.

2. Your account and authorization

• You are responsible for the Google account and YouTube channel credentials you connect to the app, and for all activity performed through them.
• You may disconnect a channel at any time from the app's dashboard or by revoking access in your Google Account's Third-party access settings.
• You agree not to share your credentials or the app's data directory with unauthorized parties.

3. Acceptable use

You agree that you will not use the app to:

• Create, upload, or distribute content that violates YouTube's Terms of Service, Community Guidelines, or any applicable law.
• Upload content that infringes third-party copyrights, trademarks, or other intellectual property rights.
• Upload spam, harassment, hate speech, misleading content, or content that harms minors.
• Use the app to gain unauthorized access to any system, data, or account.
• Resell, sublicense, or provide the app's functionality as a service to third parties without our written consent.

4. Content ownership and responsibility

• You retain ownership of the scripts, ideas, and other input you provide to the app, and the videos, audio, and media files it produces from them.
• You are solely responsible for the content you create, publish, or upload, including ensuring it complies with all applicable laws, platform policies, and third-party rights.
• Generated media may be created with the assistance of third-party AI services, which may have their own terms. You are responsible for reviewing, accepting, and complying with those terms as they apply to your use, including for any commercial or monetized content.

5. Intellectual property

The app's software, design, and documentation are either owned by us or licensed to us, and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. We do not grant you any ownership or license to the app itself beyond your right to use it in accordance with these Terms.

6. Availability and changes

• The app is provided on an "as is, as available" basis. We may update, modify, or discontinue features at any time, without notice, subject to providing advance notice where required by platform obligations.

7. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

• The app is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including fitness for a particular purpose, uninterrupted availability, or absence of errors or defects.
• To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, including lost profits, lost data, or interruption of service, arising out of or in connection with your use of the app.
• Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

8. Third-party services

The app relies on third-party services, including Google's YouTube Data API and AI generation providers, to function. Your use of those services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies, including the YouTube Terms of Service and Google Privacy Policy. We are not responsible for the operation, availability, or practices of those services.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the app at any time, with or without cause, and without prior notice, particularly if you are found to violate these Terms, applicable laws, or platform policies. You may stop using the app at any time and delete its data directory, at which point your data, including stored credentials, will no longer be used by the app.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to the developer's jurisdiction, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the use of the app will be handled in the competent courts of that jurisdiction.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time by updating this page and noting the effective date at the top. Continued use of the app after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
